Does anyone have any experience changing the screen on a Kannastor grinder? I have the 2.5" 4 piece grinder of theirs and the screen is all bent to shit. I know to replace it I need to remove the C shaped ring with special pliers and the screen comes out after that. Really what I'm asking is if anyone has changed one of the screens, do I need the special Kannastor tool, and where can I get the replacement screen?
Man I love my Kannastor! I just recently took mine out Just to see if I could. I don't own a pair the special tool either and just used a leatherman set. Stuck both noses of the main plier tool in each of the holes and squeezed that thing outta there. I think regular needle nose pliers would do the same, as long as they're thin pointed pliers. As for the replacement screen, kannastors usually come with an extra screen otherwise I suppose just get another off of their website. Hope that helped.
