Hi, I'm about to embark upon my first grow For various reasons, I've decided upon a soil ScrOG of a single plant, from seed to harvest (no clones/mothers). I'll be building the enclosure, and was going to make it 2' x 3' to match the light I'm getting (one of the new x-lens Penetrator LED's 126x). However, I know that Kali has quite long internodal lengths and need to know what kind of height above the base of the plant I need to put the screen. As I'm only growing a single plant, I want to make it as productive as possible. I can't go hydro as there will be occasions where I can't be home to monitor water/nutes etc. so need a buffer (hence the soil). Can anyone give me a good indication of the height required for the screen? Also, I was hoping to get away with not using a CFL for the veg stage - would putting the LED at maximum height above the plant be ok or would that be too much?
