Grown in my closet got 1 plant goin and its goin pretty well she is sleepn at the moment not sure what sex is yet but im gonna call it a she until then lol just signed up for this site and its been very useful fuckn great site tomorrow ill post up some pictures of her its 6 days old and just startn to get its second set of spiked leaves and its stem is pretty long does putting the light closer to the plant prevent it from growing taller ? its about 3 inches away now at first it was about 5-6 inches away
Plants will stretch toward the light. If the light is not intense enough or close enough the stem will become long and spindly. Bring your lights as close as you can without causing heat stress on the babies. Hold your hand at plant height and bring the lights as close as you can without burning yourself and you should be good. I don't mean to get it so close that you can't stand it Just until you feel a good amount of heat. If the plant does stretch a bit too much you can always top-dress it with some additional soil or plant it a little bit deeper when you pot up. Good luck and hope for girls.
