There is one plant at the center of it all and it seems like its been the victim of mis-information by the government's and loybists groups for almost a century now. Cannabis & Hemp A drug that is safer than asprin, alcohol, tobacco. A drug that is not addictive (only habit forming, like everything else) A drug that is not a gateway drug A drug with more than 20 medicinal purposes A drug with which thousands of products can be manufactured. A drug that is not possible to overdose on A drug..A Herb.. A Plant that people get thrown in jail for I Urge every and anyone to go and search the facts for themselves. Jailing sick and dying people for a alternative herbal medicine. Industries that benefit from the Illegality of cannabis are the pharmacetuical, oil companies (plastics and other products), timber, & alcohol. The Government and the president needs to take the legalization of cannabis seriously. It is best for public health and for the economy as a whole. It the safest drug... but, it is still a drug and needs to be regulated; instead of handing it to dealers who don't discriminate. This Drug which is minutely harmful (when in excess) becomes potentially harmful when handed to other violentcriminals. Thrusting it into the criminal underworld is the worst effect of cannabis not the substance it self. The gateway effect is caused by this and because of the mis-information about the substance. I am calling on the media to correct this wrong. To once and for all start a movement; bring the gov't to its knees and let the freedom ring again and help legalize a substance which benefits far outweigh its harms. Every substance is harmful in excess but in the right amounts it can be a boon. Yet the government refuses to change its asinine laws. DO something about it ....... Give people the voice their deserve to reach the masses and overturn these incrimiating laws. The Media need not be biased but should report the facts. ..... and the facts overwhelming tell us that this is a personal choice; the government need not get involved in recreation because cannabis is harmful to no one....
