    Can facebook really delete something like that? I mean legally, you have people from all over the world on there, some places where weed is legal. I was under the impression that the internet was basically "fair game".

    Don't tell me the prohibition has spread to the online world as well?

    its a private website open for the public. they can censor what ever they want to censor. just like this site and millions of others

    Prohibition has not spread to the online world, many websites just have rules - like facebook.

    Its mostly politics. The company doesnt want to seem like it supports drug use

    They should be attempting to support the PEOPLE, and not suppress them.

    But I guess I am just a dreamer...

    They can do whatever they want. I think it's funny that some people on GC are complaining about it.... it's ultimately their decision.
