Just saw Rise of the planet of the apes. And I was high as fuck

If only James Franco would have been a stoner in this movie too lol

 

i always think of spiderman first when i think of james franco, not that stoner movie. probably cause i hate that movie lol. pineapple express i think it was

 

Only thing I really liked about this movie was all the references to the original. Other than that it wasn't that special although it was good to see Andy Serkis as an ape again. Still I felt all the themes from the original were stronger than those watered down here. Rise seemed more about animal creuelty and bad science than discrimination, the fall of man, hypocrisy and corruption in government and faith.

 

Agreed. The originals were fucking great. Theres just so many hidden themes and messages in them.

 

I hate when I hear people call the original stupid. It's ironic how deep superficiality has sunk.

 

Ya people are too obsessed with special affects now. My friends complain that the originals are too old.

 

I can't watch that movie. Apes scare the shit out of me.
