it was pretty tight. the fight scenes were so badass, but it dragged on with a bunch of stupid side plots about rape and stuff. i'd recomend seeing it, but it isn't good enough to see again.
I want to see that so bad... but I'll probably just rent it later, I'm not giving someone 9 bucks to watch a movie.
So, giving someone like... $5 is that much better, when if you were to pay $9, you could see it on a big ass screen? Mweh, I'm thinking I'm just gonna rent it too, but only because there's no Imax theatre's near my dwelling. If there were, I'd be on that shit like green or purple on dank. I just watched the real story behind it on the history channel... I imagine I'll probably find that real deal more interesting than the movie. Hell, come to find out, it wasn't even just the 300 Spartans, 1000 other Greek soldiers also stayed behind with them, but only the 300 Spartans get all the mythical glory. I'm mostly interested in the fact that the movie looks visually stunning, than anything else. The actual filming techniques look like they may be something new for a change . Though, that's what I thought when LOTR came out (not that I'm bashing on LOTR at all... it just wasn't quite as innovative visually as I thought it'd be.)
i won sneak preview tickets to go see 300 is imax so i made the drive to new orleans and seen it tuesday night..one word SICK u must go see it.
Maybe I'll go see that today, it looked really good. And hearing good reviews on here only makes me want to see it more.
I went today right after school and got stoned and it was a badass movie. Everyone should see it in my opinion. Similar to gladiator in a way but different and not as long. The part where the arrows blacken the sky OMG!
DUDES! Get this. IMAX is supposed to be showing 300 in ALL major cities. I'm in Indiana. They're showing it in Portage, and Evansville. As far NORTH and as far SOUTH as you can go. Not Indianapolis, the capital, in the middle. I can't drive 5 hours =\
Dude, unreal movie, the ending was awesome, the fight scenes were insane, good dialogue. Only negative thing is at the beginning it drags on a bit but if does help set up for a good ending. I give it a B+, nice visuals and settings too
