Grabbed my chainsaw, two extra chains and some gas and beat all the tree companies to jersey today... Headed back tomorrow so anyone in jersey/ long island with major tree damage, I'm your guy
Nice work bro! I wish there were more hurricanes going your way. I had an earthquake today but I didn't do shit, just kept on toking and gave no fucks until it went away (true story btw) lol
I was expecting a casino story..gotta love those lucky nights. Your story's a perfect example of good coming from bad, for someone atleast, im sure the bad outweighs the good in this case. Atleast you were safe. & to Peruvian^; i hate earthquakes, it's always a mad dash to save/secure any glass and if there's any ladies in the garden gotta make sure they don't tip over.
Congratulations for using your intuitive and making some money out of it! Now come on... share the love
Yeah I woke up to sunshine and a light wind. Turned on the news and saw all those trees down... Figured I'd do my part to help some people out and make some pretty decent cash in the process. Some tight cuts though because most of the trees were either on houses or wrapped up in power lines on people's driveways. For those of you in jersey... Hang tight and stay safe, no power at all (at least where I was (alpine and englewood) ) and devastation everywhere.
not gunna lie i opened this thread expecting a spam post. But i respect your hustle and intelligence to make some money quick
Wish I could've took the wood home for the furnace, but the truck is just too small. But damn I'm looking at this stack of bills feelin all proud of myself an shit hahaha. It was worth the three hour drive there and back.
this is basically what i do when we get microbursts. go out with my stepdad and make a few hundred dollars.
I'll be there by first light tomorrow. I looked EVERYWHERE for a store that would sell bar and chain oil... Forget about it, the only gas station in town that had power had a line down the street. Had no choice but to come home and stock up before tomorrow or I would have just slept in the truck somewhere for sure.
Is that bar and chain oil any different than regular oil for cars? I would imagine its very thick. I have always used my old oil from oil changes and worked good for me, but then again never cut more than one good size tree at a time. Nice feeling having a wad of green in ya pocket. Nice!
