Hey whats up guys i just harvested my first plant! . I vegged it for about 3 months on my balcony outside, than when it started to grow higher than the balcony i had to bring it in. It was flowered w/ all CFL's 244 accual watts. Plant ended up being 4 1/2 ft tall. I harvested 220 grams wet, how much do you think that will be dry? Im hoping for around 2 o's. Today was accually the 8th week of flowering just spent the last 3 1/2 hours trimming it up now its drying. It wont let me put any more pics up srry for the 1. Bud porn coming later.. sounds like a good harvest! wish the pic was a lil better, but that looks like its gonna be some greatttt herb
i think your math is waaaay off. youre right that bud loses 75-80% of its weight when dried, but that would equal about 2 oz dried. 220 * .25 = 55grams 55 grams / 28 grams in an ounce = ~ 2 oz.
Don't forget, you still have the sugar leaves/etc for hash! 2 oz grow should do about 1/8 oz of hash right? (just trimmings/leaves)
to be honest, his plant didnt look ready. the hairs and the trichomes both look pre-mature. maybe with more pics we can make a more accurate judgment. but by going off that single pic, it doesn't look to me like that will make good hash. you need the stuff that's coated with white trichomes.
It was just bagseed, and sorry bout the pic for some reason all my other pics said upload failed they might be too big. But all the buds are very frosty trichs were cloudy / amber and ppl told me pistol color doesnt matter if the trichs are rdy. The high is great strong head high and a decent couch lock. I didnt flush it, i just watered it with water for the last 2 weeks. I plan on making as much hash as my clippings will get me.
