ive been out on the river all day on my waverunner fishing. just arrived to find my package sitting outside. took me all of a minute to unbox the beast and plug her in for a test. MY GOD THE NOISE! never would i have imagined the thing being as loud as it is. its a smooth hum but a very audible one! she does push the air though! i hope it will be enough to cool my room. i just havent decided on 1 600 watt for the coverage and penetration or 2 250s for the ability to cover more space evenly..
They get much quieter behind closed doors and once installed. Cool tubes, carbon filter, and the ducting do a good job too. I can't even hear mine, but I have a can fan max which is supposed to be much quieter and energy efficient. Glad to know. i still need to get my light. hoping a 600w in a cool tube will be good for a 6ft long by 2 ft wide area
