Still putting the finishing touches and waiting on my buddy to drop off the A-13 beans...if something happens and he falls through, this particular run will be however many female C4s I get out of my 12 pack (I'm guessing 6) and filled in with clones from my own indie cut. Pics will be up soon, I'd rather wait until everything's totally set up to get the ball rolling. I've included the original top down diagram I made in the mean time. Long story short, this grow is for a buddy who is a long time smoker sick of paying outrageous prices to support his 1/8th a day habit ($300-400 an ounce for frankly mediocre local commercial crop). I'm setting it up for him and I'll be dropping in just about every day or as necessary since he's right down the road and not terribly experienced in the ways of growing. This is also doubling as a "torture chamber" type of test grow - I'm throwing a bunch of stuff I've never used, from genetics to techniques to the light configuration, against the wall and seeing which ones stick. But the bottom line is that for me growing has become less fun and more of a chore lately and this is an attempt to get back to my roots a bit. Hope you guys enjoy experimenting along with me. Here's the basic rundown - -3ftx3ft homemade tent (6mil black/white poly, stitched, zippered, and framed with 11/4" pvc) -250w HPS hung vertically with a classic OG-style afro-engineered cooltube configuration -4" Scrubber + 4" 170cfm inline exhaust -12 plants total, aggressive training with help of vertical screens, 1 gallon pots from seed to harvest -Frame for pots has gutter for runoff and places pots at an angle facing towards the light (~60 degree angle) -More that I'm forgetting and will fill in later Here's the top down diagram which should explain the concept fairly well, any questions feel free to ask. Also if anyone is interested in the specs and plans for this particular setup feel free to PM me after the completion of the run, I managed to do everything listed for under $400 and had to buy nearly everything for him. The basic rundown is 7-10 day veg before the flip, my aim here is to fill up my vertical screens and have a huge octagonal canopy that serves as a light trap. No wasted light is the idea, I think I can accomplish it pretty easily with 12 spry girls. We'll find out I guess. I guess that's about it for now. I'll update this as soon as I can with some pics, beans will be popped by next Friday at the latest. Enjoy, peace
