Oh not me!!!! Once I pull the plant and see the root system, I more times than not ask myself why I haven't bought 7 gallons yet......
Especially the bigger strains. 2m Sativa that you have to aggressively top just to be able to finish it indoors, need that bigger bag, root structure. They also need support on the main stalk and lots of times flowering. With so many strains that have been crossed, you need to have some idea of what you are growing, but the leaves should help, within that first couple of weeks. I would transfer out if a 3 directly to a 7 if attempting to grow one of those monsters like Bruce Banner, Thai Sativas, Lamb’s bread Jamaican Sativa (though that really grows everywhere on that island,) but any tropical weather giant. Small hybrids, Indica and autos do just fine and in 3s. I guess it’s all about how you and your girls like to be grown. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
