So I'm almost at the end of my first grow. My buds are covered in trichromes that are about 20% milky. I'm wondering if the final stages of flowering are strain specific (regarding finishing times or trichrome development). Its hard to explain for me not too knowledgeable on this so bare with me. Yeah, they can be strain specific but usually it's the choice of the grower. Some prefer more amber while others like em milky. Decide the type of high you want and chop accordingly.
Ah ok. So from the time they start turning milky till they are amber will be different for each strain? Is there a ballpark kind of a thing like 1 or 2 weeks? Sent from my SM-G960U using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Yeah. I've seen some really fast indicas go from milky to amber in less than a week, but have had others take nearly three weeks. Just gotta watch them daily till they get to a ratio you like.
