I am almost strictly hip hop and reggae. I seldom listen to anything that's rock or anything else. Everything - Rock, Rap, Ska, Punk, Classical, Country, Techno, D&B, Trance, etc. By my favorite bands/artists atm are the Red Hot Chili Peppers (always), Lil Wayne, AFI, Smashing Pumpkins, and Prodigy.
I'm into most 60's music I hear. Some bands I like. There what I'd consider "indie" style. But it's just mellow music played with acoustic guitars. Iron & Wine The Shins Fleet Foxes Modest Mouse Elliot Smith MGMT also, which isn't really like the previous listed. Just recently heard a Bon Iver song and they are pretty great. Pink Floyd is also a great band. Explosions in the Sky is an instrumental band that gets you lost in the music like Pink Floyd. For a while I listened to the Requiem For a Dream soundtrack.
