WOW! i placed another order with the Dr on August 21st and i got my beans and freebies today on August 24th!! All i can say is wow the Dr has got his shit together 3 days international shipping is ridiculous!! I bought some Bubblelicious from nirvana and got some "Cosmic Nights" which is a Sensi star x NL cross! smokin one for the doc edit: aww man upon further inspection 2 of my sensi x NL beans were cracked..one is like broken in half and the other is only has a hairline crack, time for germing!
we almost all love doc except for the occasional buyer who has a mixup or loses his seeds somewhere in transit. good prices and awesome customer service. doc's my fave. 3 for 3 on orders andd my troublemaker freebies were 100% viable.
Good prices on everything but Nirvana. Whats up with them charging twice as much as seedboutique.com??
once you get your 1st order and quickly at that, it should ease your paranoia. besides, so far the worst i've heard happen is someone doesn't get their seeds because they're siezed or someone grabs them along the way on shipping. i haven't heard of anyone being arrested or investigated yet. i think the government has bigger fish to fry than POTENTIAL weed growers these days. if there's anything you should be paranoid about, i'd say it's people you don't know PMing you here fishing for info/hook ups or accidently giving out too much info in public.
the biggest complaint i'd have against doc is that he doesn't have alot of strains i'm most interested in like burmese, but no seedbank carries everything. the updated website is alot better than the old one. often, product description text was illegible at the old site and needed to be copied and pasted into wordpad to be read. the new design is alot cleaner and has more pics. window shopping is ALWAYS fun at any seedbank. the thing that cracks me up is when cheesy seedbanks pop up that take $20 nirvana strains (bought at either gypsy or docs probably) and then re-sell them for $50-$70 as originals. you get beans straight from the source and for what they are worth at docs.
Stupid question but why are Docs prices so much lower than most canadian seed banks? It seems that his prices are 1/2 to 1/3 than what can be purchase in person on Toronto. ex MK ultra of Jack Herer both over 350 at sacred seeds but under 150 from the Doc. If you buy TH or Sensi strain from him does it come in ORIGINAL PACKS or are they f2s like willy jack. Just seems to good to be true, but I have not read anything bad about the Doc. I am not one to question a good thing but I am questioning a good thing.
you're comparing apples and oranges. willy jack has always been a high end (read expensive) bank. doc just so happens to carry alot of the bargain basement banks, but if you look around, he has some big buck strains there too. come to think of it, in my cannabis culture magazine, i saw a canadian (won't ship to US) price of $80 for kali mist, but i couldn't find it anywhere in the UK for under $100. if you're going to compare prices, make sure you compare one site's willy jacks against anothers. if memory serves me right, doc doesn't carry that.
Thanks for the reply but my question was not about willy jack, but used them as an example of a seed co that buys other co.s genetics and sells seeds of these crosses f2s which will not be as stable as the seeds from original companies, which I consider a knock off of an original and I am not at all interested in, thus willy jack has lower prices than originals(Pokernaut u mentioned this same practice in your post beform my original). My two examples Jack Herer Sensi seeds and Mk ultra TH seeds have been consistently the most expensive strains on the dutch market since their release around us$250-300, but only when from the original breeders. So my question still why are these two top shelf varieties as well as all premium dutch companies half the price from the Doc site (who I have to risk getting through the mail versus a reputable company in canada that I can drive to myself) Sacred seeds in tor? I am not knocking the doc at all or telling people sacred seeds is the way to go, as far as I have read he is the man to see just want to know how he can sell so cheap. If he does in fact ship originals in original packaging then I will deff try him, if not I will gladly pay extra for the real deal. Thanks again

i like doc most for the customer service... fast shipping and a nice "good news! you've got incoming" email that lets you know your status. it's a small touch, but a nice one. not only that, but doc at least used to give freebies to any first time customer and gives out nice ones at that. i got $40 troublemakers that were 100% viable and have heard at least one lucky so and so got half a dozen de$troyer beans. word has it too that if you mention grasscity, you'll get a discount on your order. if you're in canada, you're quite lucky. you can just go to the nearest shop and sample strains firsthand. it's possible that the same strains in canada are more expensive because of shipping & customs issues whereas the UK is right around the corner from the netherlands so maybe it's easier to import them... just hop on a train and a quick boat ride. i don't know WHY the prices are different, but i don't sweat buying from the UK and i live in neo-fascist US. i would imagine customs is even more lax in canada.
