Just a quick question.

  1. So just a small question, I'm not too worried about this but I was sleeping the other night, or at least trying to sleep. I wasn't high as well btw. I started feeling strange, it started with my feet gettin extremely warm/heavy/relaxed, more than I've ever felt whilst high. This feeling starts rushing up my body very quickly and it's overwhelming. The feeling spreads to my head and I'm not sure if my eyes close at this point or if I kind of temperarily go blind lol.

I totally forget where I am and haven't a clue what's going on, this only lasts about 5 seconds thankfully but it's weird. It happens a couple times before I fall asleep, not every night though.

I have a theory on what happened, at night the pipes in the house kind of cool down and start making noises, it sound like a clock ticking, it starts off fast an gradually gets slower. If I concentrate on it I think it kinda hypnotises me. That's the only thing I can think of.

Should I be worried about this or?
    Thanks for any answers.

  2. it sounds like a panic attack, when this happens are you worrying about something in particular?

  3. Waking sleep, where your brain falls into sleep mode, but you do not. Common among sleep walkers and the like, sleep paralysys is more along the lines of you wake up, and are fully aware you are awake, but your body refuses to move...can be very fucking scary sometimes hahahahah

  4. Yeah it's quite scary, usually i can snap myself out of it by sitting up in bed quickly, I couldn't imagine how horrible it would feel if it were to last like 10 minutes haha.

and to the other user, na I'm not worrying about anything, doesn't feel like a panic attack, I've had a few before. When I'm sleeping I just let my thoughts roam free while trying to get to sleep, never worrying about anything in particular anyway.

  5. Horrible isn't the right choice of word. Amazing is.

  6. .... no man, horrible definitely fits the description... waking up and not being able to move/open your eyes/ breath sometimes, is VERY fucking scary

  7. It's quite the experience. Not everyone gets the opportunity.

  8. i guess after you regain control of your body its not too bad, but for the time its happening its so intense...waking up to being paralyzed is really overwhelming hahahah. Kinda like "woah... what...shit...i cant open my eyes....fuck...i cant move!!!!! ok ok ok... wake up...wake up....wake up...wa" then bam you sit up in bed all quickly as your nerves catch up with the signals lol

  9. The first time I had sleep paralysis I thought it was awesome. Think about it, you're laying there with no control whatsoever practically hallucinating what your sub-conscious interprets as reality. Like always, it's just a ride. You either keep going or you crash and burn. :(

I guess it all depends on how you look at it. :D

  10. im with the other guy, wouldn't mind experiencing that.

  11. I had sleep paralysis once. Guess how my mind interpreted it?
Have you seen Kung Fu Hustle where the guy just blows the other guy out of town with force like DBZ or some shit? That happened to me while I was in my bed, sound and feeling and all. It was intense.

  12. This

    not this

  13. Same thing has happened to me, it can be pretty scary but at least it doesn't last long.

  14. To escape waking sleep paralysis just breath deeply. as deep as you can. once your breathing is controlled your body will wake up.

You can have an OBE if you can achieve waking sleep paralysis.

  15. You can have an OBE awake, asleep, or anywhere inbetween with the right meditating lol.... just have to practice your focus techniques and visualizing techniques
