Wondering if it has to be literally complete darkness or would it adjust to it being dark but still able to tell shapes?
I have read that they shouldn't get more light than what you would see on a full moon; but I would recommend you go for total darkness just to be safe...
by shapes i guess he means.. been able to see stuff in the room, but not enough light to see them good.. like been able to see ur hand infront of ur face. Pitch black would work betta.. its not hard to make a room dark... just do it.
