What do you want to know about LST and scrog? Its pretty simple, but there are a few things to remember. 1. Have your screen in place before you start flowering. (I have it there from the get go and let them grow into it) 2. LST means LOW stress training, so you never want to kink a stem. (this will take some experimentation, just dont go to far) and 3. If you do kink a stem its not the end of the world, in a few days the shoot will likely grow again. Just keep bending the apical maristem (fancy talk for the top shoot) under your screen till the screen is 70-80% full, then flip to 12/12 and you will get a carpet of bud. Combine with topping and fimming for even better results
I have been reading on it alot lately and didn't put in a screen this time but there will be one next time for sure IM making room squeezing everything all together right now so I have room for clones and more seeds when they are ready IM going to try and pull 10 lbs a month from it does any one think that is possible
generally accepted numbers are 2.2lbs for every 1000 watts every 60 days. so 8x2.2 equals 17.6lbs per 60 days or 8.8lbs a month. get an exceptionally high yielder like heavy duty fruity and you can likely get that up to 10lbs. you would have to grow clones and only one strain to do it, and then get dialed right in for the cut you grow.
IM going to narrow it down after this round of stuff goes thru I think prob do only 2 strains like blue dream and big bud white widow got a half pound a plant out of the dream last run thought that was ok for the second grow ever
Ok latest and greatest got beans from the attitude and germing 17 as we speak and those will soon be in ebb and flow while the 16 clones go to the aero flow to flower on Friday next week some time the seeds will be in the veg room I'll post pics
There is 75 in the room at the moment under 12/12 got a few popped today for adding to in a few weeks sour og,northern lights,fruity chronic juice ,and a few more that I'll be adding to the mix I always add the 3 wk plants about 3 days before I flush so ppm in the system don't hurt them but thought you might like some pics
