I guess this needs to go in the beginner section. People are going crazy of over juicing fruits, vegetables and greens for the minerals and nutrients. I work at a grocery store and a LOT of people do it. I was wondering if that could work as fertilizer for plants too, with some dilution. Wouldn't that be really cheap, cold-pressed kale and stuff with a bit of water?
Yes it can, but the nutrients need to be broken down first. I blend old bananas, apples, coffee grounds, etc. then freeze it (freezing hastens the rot) then thaw it out and feed it to my worms. http://forum.grasscity.com/organic-growing/334921-vermicomposting-make-your-own-worm-castings.html
Yeah, I want to start a worm casting station at my house when I move into one. Until then, compost tea's and that kinda stuff is a little too stinky.
