South Park is at it again. The new special 'Joining the Panderverse' has the main characters gender and race swapped. Pissing people off left and right for some reason. Disney actually tried getting it yanked because it mocks their 'Pandering'. Filed motions, had lawyers meetings from both sides. The result was that now there are two more scheduled to make a Trilogy instead of a one off. They also reminded Disney that the Mickey Mouse character loses any copyright protection starting in January and enters the public domain, free for anyone at all to use, however they wish to. Needless to say, Disney is not happy about this.
You can't sue parody. South Park knows it all too well. They did some pretty good Micky Mouse episodes years ago. Can't wait to see what the Panderverse has in store for us.
