Jobs for college students that AREN'T in a restaurant?

  1. I worked in the dorms. It didn't pay a ton, but I was essentially being paid to do my homework, which is the best kind of multi-tasking.
     
  2. Check out working for a group home. I worked at one while going to school and I could study and do work while at work. Just have to find the right place. They also pay more then minimum wage.
     
  3. All jobs suck tbh. I would stick with the restaurant. Maybe try to get a server position somewhere else. Those people make bank. Maybe after you get some seniority you can get the good weekend shifts that won't interfere with your school. I work in a factory on auto manufacturing line much faster than red lobster and it does suck, and breaks your body down.but if I wasn't here I would probably be doing the same thing as you, Some of those people make more money than I do on the weekends. Sounds like you have plenty of experience to move up in the restaurant biz/ Maybe keep at it and own your own one day.
