Jobs and MMJ...

    Hey all. So my last paycheck from the Marine Corps comes in the 16th (dont bother talking about the 911 GI Bill, i know everything about it, and not using it for the next two years).

    In order to continue my lifestyle i've grown accustom to, I may need to get a job, or collect unemployment, which probably would only cover my bills and thats it (I live with my dad, so free housing : P ) Im sure I could land a few good jobs, but with MMJ, and MJ in my system, I guess im fucked for now.

    What do you guys do for a living, while smoking MMJ? I may put in my resume at some collectives.

    Wait... If you are LEGALLY PERMITTED TO SMOKE MARIJUANA jobs can still refuse to hire you because you fail a piss test for a drug that was legally prescribed to you by a DOCTOR?

    That's fucking stupid.

    Yup. They can refuse to hire you if you tell them you have a MMJ and a rec. If you are renting a place, they can evict you if they have a no illegal drug clause too. They have been/currently trying to pass a bill the end workplace discrimination for MMJ, but last I heard Arnie vetoed it. My options (if I dont want unemployment) is buy a whizzinator kit, do hard research for a detox/masking supplement, or quit smoking...

    I'd rather not quit smoking, at least not yet, because I just picked up a quarter for cheap. Yeah fuck this noise, ima go smoke.

    Pretty much at any large corperation they're going to do either monthly drug tests or a hiring drug test. I would go with the whizzinator, it's the most effective method even though its expensive. it's impossible to fail a test with synthetic pee, and the fake dick is there if someone is having to supervise over you. How did you like the marines? I'm thinking about joining the corps, not sure if I want to leave the whole MMJ scene down here in socal though.

    How was the Corps; that's a very hard thing to answer. It's so unique, its not a "I like it" or "I don't like it."

    When I joined, I had a BURNING desire. It's what I wanted to do no matter what, and I wanted the real thing, the infantry. If you join the Marine Corps for anything other than Infantry, you won't get the full experience. The grunts is the most amazing experience you will ever have.

    I was an 8351 Security Force Contract, which was 2.5 years of Fleet Anti Terrorism Security Team and 2.5 years in the Fleet Infantry. FAST was the most badass awesome thing I ever done. We did nothing but CQB, which did get old after awhile. We PT'ed hardcore every day. Had some.badass deployments (Spain for nine months was fucking awesome, and Israel is better.). We did shit that 97% of regular grunts will never experience.

    If I could, I would have done 20 years of it. But, then you go to the Fleet, and you see just how disgusting, weak, pathetic, corrupt, political, under funded, and nothing but checks in a box the real bulk of the Marine Corps is.
