Job for an 18 year old?

I would try to get a job as a host a restaurant. I was a host over the summer and I got paid a good amount of money with tips. It was pretty fast paced and fun to.

 

Night stocker at walmart/home depot/ect. My friend gets paid like $12 an hour, and overtime is always available. Plus you don't have to deal with customers.

 

If your in a city with lots of housing, have a good driving record and a car try pizza delivery. That was my 1st job and I made descent money. It's minimum wage plus tips. If you work the closing shift which is usually 6 to 1 am you get the most cash. I averaged around $12 and hour plus I always had cash in my pocket. Plus you will never go hungry.

 

i work at papajohns as a instore, and i make minimum wage but its ridiculously easy.i would do the work im doing for 5 bucks an hr thats how easy it is.its chill too, 6inch pizza for 50 cents,cheesesticks for 50 cents, and everypizza is half price.

learn a trade, im an apprentice marine electrician for a company called Sunseeker (they make luxury yachts). the pay starts shit, but by the end of it ill be on big money and ill be qualified to work for myself in that field and make even more money; i could even do a 6 month course after and go into domestic electricity and make even more money wiring up houses and shit..

edit: and not to mention at my company overtime is always available, i know someone who works like 55-60 hours a week lol dunno what hes spending that much money on..

 

damn, i'm jus relaly fucked in life when i cant find a job other than the one i have that pays 7.50, n i do labor work.... jesus christ i think i'm gonna quit my job n jus sell drugs and guns n shit, cuz this 7.50 an hour shit aint cuttin it

 

i deliver chinese. i make 6 an hour + tips. durring the week days i usually make 15 an hour and weekends its closer to 40-50 an hour

Well... Apparently a Navy helicopter pilot is extremely good. Satisfying and you get payed well. I think about 30-40k a year, but I may be wrong.

i have a construction job and it pays fairly decent, i get at least 40 hours every week and i dont get pee tested i know some const jobs do but some dont, i have to be to work every morning at 7 but its still pretty sweet, you get to work with a bunch of drunks too thats always fun

 

general labourers always make a decent wage.

Just have to ready to work hard and get little to no respect.

 

i work for a freight line and get 14.50 a hr for driving hilo i had to pass one test to get hired and they dont do randoms if you live in a big city their should be alot of ltl terminals there so check it out i also worked at wendys and was a assistant mgr i think i got like 725 takehome everytwo weeks for salary but it was 50 hour a week so it kinda sucked but ya mcdonalds sux too unless its a second job lol i worked at almost every fast food place

 

I should go into pizza delivery Cheap pizza and who know u may get smoked out by a customer.

 

I worked the the loss prevention department at Boscov's in the guard booth. All I did was sit there and play mario brothers, every now and then a customer came back and i had to stamp their receipt for something. I got paid 8.50 for nothing, but I was late twice so they fired me.

 

It all depends on whether or not you've graduated high school or are planning on going to college. Without a high school diploma, your options are really limited and it may take a while to find anything that pays significantly better than McDonald's. You could tough it out until they promote you, be a manager or something.
