Ok so we got 100% germination. All 3 seeds popped and tap roots are visible. I decided to take them out of the water to a moist paper towel for pictures.
I'm using Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil and 2 gal pots. I've gotten all 3 potted and in the tent. Tent is 3x3x6 Agromax. I'm using 400 watt MH/HPS.
Alright fellow growers i need some help here... It's been 3 days since I put them in soil. There's no sign of them. I'm pretty much getting nervous. What could the problem be??? I buried them about 1/4" deep and soaked the medium prior to planting. I also included makeshift humidity domes with plastic bottles and a ziplock bag. Temp is a consistent 79degrees F. Humidity 46%. Any thoughts ? http://forum.grasscity.com/index.php?/topic/1340042-JHo%27s-Shiatsu-Massage
I have your tent and have done well with it... I also use a 400 so I will be lurking. I dont see any issues as of yet. Taps Looked good on 2 of 3 I would expect that to be the weakest of the 3. I would say they should show by 2moroish Sent from my HTCEVOV4G using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Back with another update, one of my plants is finally popped through the soil. But the cotyledons are still in the seed casing. Should I help it along or leave it be??? http://forum.grasscity.com/index.php?/topic/1340042-JHo%27s-Shiatsu-Massage
I definitely glad I left them alone! Thanks for dropping by checking out my grow. http://forum.grasscity.com/index.php?/topic/1340042-JHo%27s-Shiatsu-Massage
My plants are looking great now. All 3 plants are now above ground. One of my plants had "helmet head" and was unable to shed its seed cover. However, it resolved itself within a day. Check out the pics below. http://forum.grasscity.com/index.php?/topic/1340042-JHo%27s-Shiatsu-Massage
Day 9 Germination Just a quick update while I water the girls. The second set of leaves are growing and the third set is barely visible. I've notice my soil is drying up quickly. As of right now I wait till an inch of the top soil is dried before watering. My plans are to transplant the one in solo cup when the leaves get closer to the edge of the cup.my other plants are doing fine in their final container. Can't wait till the cotyledons fall off and we can start vegging with nutes. Here are some pic, let me know what you think, and if I'm heading in the right direction. Love to hear from fellow growers with similar set ups and growers that are more advanced. ~JHo http://forum.grasscity.com/index.php?/topic/1340042-JHo%27s-Shiatsu-Massage

Whats the humidity and temps in the tent? auto help page if you need help with autoflowers http://forum.grasscity.com/index.php?/topic/1294434-Need-help-with-autos?-Welcome new vote page sept please vote http://www.dutch-passion.nl/en/photovote/2014-09-03-autoultimate%C2%AE-loki_1752/
The temps range from 78-80F with lights on, However its been hot the past couple of days. The tent has been somewhere between 82-84 F. Temps with lights off are a few degrees lower. Humidty has been around 40-45%.
Day 14 update So I transplanted the girl that out-grew her solo cup. I believe she is still in shock but is recovering well. I might have planted her too deep because the lower leaves almost touch the soil. Lesson learned. The other two plants are really thriving. I noticed some inner node growth (pic 2). You can definitely tell from the fatter leaves this is an indica dominant hybrid. I've started with Fox Farms Big Bloom at 1/4 strength to prevent nutrient burn. I might increase to 1/2 strength on their next feeding/watering. I'm thinking of a few LST techniques to use. Any thoughts? Let me know! Enjoy the pics ~JHo http://forum.grasscity.com/index.php?/topic/1340042-JHo%27s-Shiatsu-Massage
Man, your plants are looking real nice! And I really like your grow journal. I'll deff be subbing. And as far as nutes go, when would your next watering be? Or how often do you water/feed? Take your time when it comes to feeding nutes. I would wait to feed it a few times before adding more strength. Nute burn is really easy to get, and it can be very bad for the plant.
Thanks! As far as watering goes as a rule of thumb there is no set time I water. I like to wait for the topsoil to dry out at least to about my first knuckle. With the current conditions, I'm watering about every 3-5 days. I'm finding more often it's getting to 4 days. I feed nutrients every other watering. I agree nute burn is a bad thing to have. My method of using 1/2 of the company's recommendation has been the best for me. It'll be interesting to see if there will be a yield difference. ~JHo http://forum.grasscity.com/index.php?/topic/1340042-JHo%27s-Shiatsu-Massage
Day 18 update I decided to top 2 of the plants. One was topped at the 3rd node (pic 1) and the other was topped at the 4th node (pic 2). Just wanted to see which one has the advantage. I did water with a 1/4 strength of Earth Juice Oily Cann CalMag booster (pic 5). It's recommended for indoor/outdoor soil, hydroponics, and foliar feedings. I like it because it is organic and has humic acid to help with plant growth. Enjoy the pics. ~JHo http://forum.grasscity.com/index.php?/topic/1340042-JHo%27s-Shiatsu-Massage
