Can anyone help me out with this lighting problem im having ? Basically ive got a loft room with around a 2metre square grow room in it, im just starting up so no plants as yet.... lucky at the mo i think !! I purchased a aurora pro jet stream light 1000w hps which came with an rvf150 to use as the air flow, at the same time i purchased a rvk100 and a carbon filter. Ive tried 3ways of setting this system up now and i think the room is major too hot running at 44c and at lowest 39c, but i thought these lights were the dogs nuts for staying cool ? This is a list of how i have run the system so far so if anyone has any ideas for me it will be much appriciated !! System 1, RVK150 PULLING AIR THROUGH CARBON FILTER INSIDE GROW ROOM VIA DUCTING AND PUSHING AIR THROUGH LIGHT VIA DUCTING WHILE RVK100 IS PULLING HOT AIR FROM THE OTHER END OF LIGHT AND PUSHING IT OUTSIDE VIA DUCTING... THIS RUNS AT 44c System 2, RVK150 PUSHING AIR THROUGH DUCTING FROM LOFT AREA STRIGHT THROUGH LIGHT WHILE RVK100 PULLS HOT AIR FROM OTHER END OF LIGHT AND PUSHES IT OUTSIDE VIA DUCTING... THIS RUNS AT 39c System3, RVK100 PULLING AIR FROM OUTSIDE AND THROUGH LIGHT VIA DUCTING WHILE RVK150 PULLS HOT AIR FROM LIGHT AT OTHER END VIA DUCTING.. THIS RUNS AT 39c Ive got 1 large vent in the grow room but no fan actually pushing fresh air from outside directly in to the grow room, just wanted to know your ideas before i go spend more money on another fan... and would it even help ??? NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLP!!
regardless of them being notorious for running cool, 1000 watts is alot for that small a space. but then again i just got my first hps light not even a week ago so i know next to nothing about them. it just seems like a lot of power for a small room.
