    That sucks

    What does god do for you? Give you strength? It's all mental.

    Help things play out nicely for you? Physics will (has) decide(d) how that goes.

    Something to believe in? Why do you need to hold on to "belief" like it's a child dangling off of a cliff. Believing in something for no reason is a horrible idea, and stops us from exploring what science has to offer.

    Maybe there is some sort of god, or high being with control over everything somehow. But once anything is discovered to be true, it then becomes science. All science is, is just the truth. Our UNDERSTANDING of science is completely different, science is pre-existing, it is all which exists.

    "But you can never be 100% sure about anything, so we'll never know the absolute truth anyways."

    We are capable of ANYTHING, at the rate technology increases (exponentially) we can get as close as we possibly can, even achieve all knowingness.

    Maybe you're right, maybe some kind of god, deity, etc. exists in a way we didn't think of priorly.

    Picture an algebra expression as our understanding of everything.
    A represents the present day, and all which exists.
    X represents a 100% accurate description of how everything came to be.

    X=A

    I'm saying we have no way of determining the answer at the moment.

    Theists, or those who have faith in god, say that "x = god".

    "Why? We haven't learned this material yet, we have no notes on this sort of stuff yet. It has not been taught to us."

    "I just have faith".
