Just starting listening to a lot more jazz/fusion/latin stuff lately. I'm a drummer, and can't help but find the role of rhythm in these genres amazing sometimes. Any other jazz enthusiasts? And if not, what are your views on jazz?
I've recently come across a band named Atheist, and they combine technical death metal with jazz fusion to create a truly unique sound. Might not be your kind of thing though aha.
