  2. I'd settle for competent non-corporate owned leadership at all levels, elimination of special interests and lobbyists and set term limits for every last one of them. :)

  3. I bet most Minister of Defenses worldwide have never picked up a gun let alone been to war.

  4. I know you got my point. There's a difference between picking a minister from the military, whether that nation has been to wear or not, and someone like a broad the board of education.

  5. We know your stance. It's you that's seems to be confused about yours lol

  6. Trump is potus right now, not Clinton. Try to keep up. If she won, I'd be having similar conversations with Clintonites instead of Trumpites.

  9. Like I've said, anarcho-capitalism is interesting but has as much chance of replacing the current system as Democratic Socialism. My advocation of competent non-corporate owned leadership at all levels, elimination of special interests and lobbyists and set term limits isn't a vote for anarcho-capitalism. It's a call for exactly what it states but within our current system in order for the people to gain back control again and remove heavy handed federal governance. State's rights and more self governance with less federal oversight is more on par with libertarian ideas, not anarcho-capitalism. I believe I have also mentioned that each form of government has some good to offer that I like and should be incorporated.

  10. I see this thread is about orange man bad >:l now... but to comment on the original content;

    It seems ridiculous, on the surface, that the leader of something is clueless about the content of which he is leading. But in my xp both with IT and with leadership is that being a good leader, while often heavily influenced by technical expertise in the field, is not dependent on it. The Japanese minister may be an excellent administrator, as well as, of course, politically aligned with whichever force placed him there.

    He may also not be, ofc

  11. In my estimation it would be easier to fully eliminate the government then it would be to separate it from corporations...... eliminating special interest? lmao thats a good one lololol. who is living the utopian dream again? I would say you!

  12. I used to be a Libertarian.... Its not coherent enough for my liking. Better than what we have but nonetheless it is what led us here. If our experiment in America has taught us anything its that a libertarian government can not be contained. Whats the definition of insanity again? Time to evolve into something better than the past. Give up the top down rule of all forms of centralized governing and embrace individualism. Governments have outlasted their worth in the west, and are nothing more than a source of limiting our freedoms, not protecting them.

  13. can anyone name one negative right that has been enacted by this libertarian founded government in the last 100 years? Just one????? We can name literally millions of positive rights in that same period..... it is plain to see if you look. WAKE THE FUCK UP PEOPLE!!!

    Positive Rights vs. Negative Rights. Prof. Aeon Skoble describes the key differences between positive and negative rights. Fundamentally, positive rights require others to provide you with either a good or service. A negative right, on the other hand, only requires others to abstain from interfering with your actions.
