I saw a few threads talking about Jack Herer's book "The Emperor Wears No Clothes", but nobody seemed to mention that the book is completely available for anyone on his website! (and no, no registering or anything like that, just click and read!) Right here at: Jack Herer - Chapters You don't have to go out and buy the book (and it wasn't at my local library unfortunately) and I'm pretty sure that the online version is much better because it was all very straightforward and to the point (i think the online version was shortened to provide only the facts and not make it tedious, but i may be wrong and its just an amazing book in general), there are no lengthy paragraphs of pure text to go through, it was very readable and not to mention VERY informative! There are specified chapters dealing with medical marijuana, hempseed as an amazing food source, the history of cannabis prohibition, and how it is the only thing with the potential to save our planet! I very highly recommend the book to anybody interested, it is a very inspirational book and the life's work of one of cannabis legalization's biggest names Just a few interesting facts i learned from reading through it: No case of lung cancer has EVER been documented from marijuana use alone It has been proven that marijuana does not kill brain cells or cause brain damage Hempseed is the most complete single food source for human nutrition Hemp use has been shown to date back about 10,000 years ago The cannabis plant is the most useful plant known to man More than 16 million years of time has been spent in prison or jail by those arrested for marijuana charges Cannabis is the number-one annually renewable, fully sustainable, non-pesticide or herbicide requiring and most abundant source of paper, fiber, fuel, food, and medicine on the face of the Earth, with more uses than any other plant... yet it remains illegal The book really is a great read, it is easy to read and not to mention very informative, i really suggest taking the time to read it and educate yourself and those around you, especially because its free!
