Jack Herer week 7 foxfails?

Discussion in 'First Time Marijuana Growers' started by Yonip, Jun 12, 2020.

  1. What’s going on guys, I’m in the beginning of week 7 and started to notice these foxfails, from a little bit of google search these don’t look half as bad as they show.
So should I be worried? Do these buds look “normal” for this gene. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance.

    set up:
Vivosun 1200w (20 inches from canopy)
    Foxfarm happy frog.
General hydroponics ferts (1/2 I’d recommended dosage)

starting my 2 week flush tomorrow.

  2. There is nothing wrong with those foxtails there, it's the airy ones that come on little stalks that are no good.
    Your buds look delicious.
Some say that tops to close to the light might cause it , I lean towards genetics being responsible.
I go by the look of the trichomes to decide when to chop.
The cut I grow always does what you have pictured when its mature.

  3. I've had several foxtails (worse than yours) and all were just as potent as the rest of my plants.

  4. Thanks guys, I'll just play it by ear and see what happens.
