    I did not want to add anther thread, but does water get colder when you add more nad more ice cubes? Does 6 make it colder than 1

    yes, and yes because the more surface area not only makes it colder but does so quicker... although you could just leave a bottle or gallon of water in your fridge, and it would be already cold and ready for use
