Just starting a grow journal thread. growing 150+ 50 big bud seeds, the rest are from my personal seeds i have produced from growing in the past. Include: White Widow, Durban Poison, sum afghan, skunk, and Sour Diesel. pictures are of a few of the seedlings starting. Grouped accordingly. Didn't wanna picture them all because sum are pretty far back and its raining here. and it all looks the same right now Other pics are a couple of the spots. Thanks for checking in. Will provide frequent updates
haven't seen the sun in 2 days, and nothing but rain all week built 17 screens to protect the babies from alll the down pour so they don't get flooded out. Sorry for the sloppiness bout its raining so i was in a hurry New growth nonetheless
the sun is hiding from them right now! but im starting to see the light! wonder how long it stays out this time. my guess is 20 minutes
Do you think they will get flooded without the screen? I have some in coffee pots and the other day they flooded but I cut some holes in them. It's storming right now.
it was just protection because it rained so hard. I also have holes in the bottoms of the cups. the screen was just to protect from direct rain-pour, as they are fragile. If yours flooded out once already, I would try to get them sum kind of protection, even if it be bringing them inside.
hi man, is there perlite in your mix. They will grow slowly if no aeration is provided. If you don't have any translpant to other pots with perlite or other to air out.
well you can't put it now but can when repotting. It's in the stickies. An airy soil mix is important. Perlite/vermiculite/lava chips/clay pebbles all air out the soil. It's your choice. You need 30-40% of airy elements fpr mj. It's an easy way to get airy soil. But gardeners don't necessarily have perlite in their gardens if amended each year and aired out by worms and amended (loam, manures, lime). Putting perlite gives an instant soilless mix (with a peat base) for all yearly plants (tomatoes, zuchini...). See 3rd link under my signature or Dankohzee's sticky. You can also get happy frog, FFOF for ready made soil with airing in it. Still add more air.
Ok I will just pick up a bag of perlite Do they need it when there seedlings? That's the stage I'm at now, check out my journal http://forum.grasscity.com/outdoor-...37-easy-bud-first-ever-grow.html#post11009251
Oh :/ I might not have time to get will they be ok if I don't have it? The soil seems very springy and airy to me.
U just getting started this late in the end of June? U know they will start budding in about a month right, around 15-20th of July, so u better get them alot taller in a month or they will be tiny when they start budding, but i wish you luck anyway man
Thanks, and they will be ok cos it's hot here for 4 more months and there autos and take 2 months from sprouting
