Hey, well for the past 2-3 months, I've been working on this here PC case grow, but I'm really not going to get anything close to the yield I really want. The entire 2nd floor of my house is my bedroom, and I have a walk-in closet. However, it has no door, but my bathroom is like 6 inches in front of it, so I keep the bathroom door open in front of it to cover the opening.. not that it matters or anything. Anyway, my walk-in closet basically has nothing in it right now but a small little cabinet where I keep my PC case nutes and supplies and shit. The measurements to this room: 11 1/2 Feet (Length) 6 Feet (Width) 6 Feet 1 inch (Height) down the center. (The room is at a house-roof slope. so its like this: /\ There is one window on the back wall, that I'd need to cover up. I would still need to find some sort of cover for the entrance. Perhaps a black tarp of some sort? Also, in the actual room there is no outlets, but the nearest outlet is in my room about 3 inches short of 9 feet from the room. You think this is worth trying to set-up into a grow room, or is it just a pipe dream?
sounds like an awsome grow spot, that window can be your vent source (after filtration of the air) go buy a sturdy door with a lock, it will put your mind at ease (and keep the smell from migrating into your bedroom)
I have no idea what the fuck that is. Could you give me a link of some sort? I assumed someone would mention a carbon scrubber, but I dont really know much about those, either.
how are you at 877 posts and still ask what a carbon filter is? Anyway, that grow space sounds fucking fantastic, wish I had a space like that to blow up. With some good strong extension cords, and a few tough surge protectors, you should have all the power you need into that room. Build a box around window, so you can mount your filter to it, and run that out. Make sure you cant hear fan noise outside though. Good luck.
I know what a damn carbon filter is. The term "Activated Charcoal Filter" threw me off. Sounds like two different things at first look...
are we all getting along now? activate carbon is just a more porous version of carbon that has more surface area and absorbs more odor. you can get pellets of it at any pet store if you make a DIY filter.
