    So a long time ago (back in the 8th grade), my IDIOT self decided to buy a glass pipe from somebody at school.

    Some little nerd saw the exchange and snitched on me. Later in the day I got called up to the office, searched, and they found it.

    Mind you, this was an UNUSED (no resin whatsoever) glass pipe. I didn't lie to them, and I didn't have any weed. My parents and the law enforcement were called.

    In the end, I was charged with possession of paraphernalia. At the time I was 14. I was suspended but it was removed because I went to counseling.

    Was this right? Was it paraphernalia? Was the charge correct? It didn't have resin, and according to some posts that I have read, if it doesn't have resin then its not paraphernalia, however I was underaged for tobacco..

    I'm not trying to get anything changed, this was a long time ago and the counseling took it off of my record. I'm just curious. Thanks.

    I guess since you had it at school and were under 18 they charged you. I don't think they usually can, I mean you can easily buy one at a store.

    schools dont really follow certain laws like they should. i got charged with lots of stupid stuff back in school, mainly middle. It doesnt truly matter anymore, but a cop would never do that, if u were underage theyd still probably give u possession of tobacco just cuz

    I mean, it's a glass pipe. You'd probably would have had better luck if it actually had tobacco gunk in it.

    And whether or not you were in b4 people said how young, careless, and doing that business in school, it all happened. Don't dwell on the past though, just take the experience and learn from it. That's all you can do.

    They defiantly can, pipes are for anyone 18 or older, it's illegal to have it even if it's clean because it's for tobacco/marijuana, which are both illegal under 18.
