  1. hey guys this yellowing thing has got way out of hand...i have yet to try the epsom salt as i dont know if its a mag def...thought it was the ph...bought some ph testers from the pool store...and on my tap it read a little high on ph...low on chlorine...high on alkalinity...and ok as the stabilizer...i bought some spring water and tried it tonight...it read...lower than my ph for my tap...low on chlorine...low on alkalinity...and low on stablizer.... so what one would be better to use? i thought with these strips it would be easy to find the problem...but it seems it hasnt...these damn strips are shitty...n i didnt buy em cause i wouldnt of bought the strips for a damn pool...i would have got a ph meter...but oh well...can you guys tell me anything on what i just told you and based on these pics?

i did spray them with insecticidal soap but that was over a week ago...dont think that could be a factor...room temps reading around 75f...

havent put nutes on so cant be nute burn...

the leaves are getting more n more yellow...starting to dryout and shrivel...the edges of the leaves are curling upwards...

something is def wrong and the problems getting worse...help me get my garden back to being green!

    thanks

  2. Hi! I'm not a pro, but it looks like a nute burn, if you say you didn't give nutes, I don't know. I have a yellowing problem too, but its not like yours. what are the temps???

  3. Ug, sure looks like nute overdose, you using a time released soil? water your plant until water leaches out and check the ph and if you can get a tds meter and check it as well. On your strips the only concern you should have is the PH(those strips really do suck, get a meter or GH has a test solution you add to water). I would definitely get your ph down it needs to be between 5.8-6.5 with 6.2 being just right.

  4. Did you check for bugs?

  5. thats a NUTE LOCKOUT... now showing mag def

If I recall, didnt I talk to previously about your soil being Miracle grow?....and if you dont transplant you will continously experience problems...at that time it was just yellowing....well it has progressed and the yellowing was the beiginning of the bigger picture.

are the plants in miracle grow?

  6. yes...MG moisture control...what do i do about the lockup? what soil to buy? what would you recommend to do?

  7. MG Moisture is terrible for the plants. Are you sure there are no nutes in the soil as well? What is the exact ph? Proper range is 6.3-6.8, 5.8 in soil will probably lock shit out. If they have not been fed, they are long over due. I would give them a half tsp of epsom salt as well a well rounded veg fert, the green leaf margins do look like MG deficiency. Oh and they are also exibiting heat stress. Your temps are too high. So my diagnosis is, possible root rot, N and magnesium deficiency, heat stress and possible ph.

  8. High sativa! your roots are rotting. what you are seeing is multiple symptoms due to NO nute absorption. I see curled-up leaves which is def high temps. dont over water at this mark. try to aireate them by any means. even h2o2. this has been happening ALL over due to increased temps all summer. Peace, TBug

  9. Oh, and try to configure a foiliar feeding program by any hydro line. may sustain them for a bit.
