It's gotta be the longest fucking movie ever!

nope, there was a longer movie. a cure for insoniema was like 72 hours long, i think, its in the guiness book of world records.

 

Now that's a few reels of film at the movie theater!

i got courious over deadhead's post about the longest movie. and guess what. he was wrong. the movie was 85 hours long! Any way, Cure For Insomnia (1987)directd by John Henry Timmis IV, premiered in it's entirety at the Art institute of Chicago from January 31 to February 3. Much of the film consists of L.D. Groban reading his 4,080-page poem, interspaced with scenes of a rock band and some X-rated footage.

 

the book of The Stand is amazing. something like 1300 pages i think, i read it about 3 or 4 years ago.

 

I would like to read up on the cure for insomnia somemore..any links?

As for the stand, despite how long it is I love the movie...stephen kings low-budget movies are always the best.

 

i couldn't find any links but it is in guinness book.

 

Its an ok movie. The book is much better imo tho!
