Ok so got my FIRST grow going very smoothly it's a little over 2 weeks from sprout now. Anyways there is a deff. smell pretruding from my box and when I open it it's a deffinate smell, sort of a mix of weak bud and plant smell. What is the quickest fix for smell and one that will stay true when it begins to bud would be ideal
stinking at 2 weeks after sprout? you sure you're not just smelling the soil? lol plants dont get stinky until flowering imo. but ona gel does work to an extent.
Like I said its not a s- any smell is a bad smell of straight bud, but there is smell of PLANT. I need a quick fix. can i buy ona gel at a store?
Why pay big bucks for Ona Gel when you can make your own? Just buy the Ona liquid concentrate and soil moist polymer (both of which should be available at virtually any good grow/hydro shop). All you do is wet the soil moist with water and it expands to create gel. Then simply mix in some of the Ona concentrate to your liking. If the soil moist dries out just add some more water/concentrate and you're good to go. do you have good ventilation??? if no get some you'll need it good air exchange is a must not only for smell but growth as well . look in the DIY section for carbon filter/scrubber works grate.
I, too, have begun to get paranoid about the smell coming from my guest bathroom. My plant is only 3 1/4 weeks old at this point and it's already stinky. My mom's coming to visit me over Christmas and I'm thinking I need a tent of some kind.
