Hey grasscity, its been a while since Ive been on or posted one of my poems. I wrote this one about 20 minutes ago and I write my poems depending on my emotions at that moment so I hope you like it. Never Know What to Say I never know the words to say Fell in love with another girl today She'll just pass me by like the rest of um I'll just watch her go and not say nuthin Same sad story since the middle school days Make a cute girl smile and go on and not say like Hey girl what's your name, I'm Larry I saw you from across the way and had to say hey I normally don't do this but it's my lucky day You just walked out of my dreams and I can't let you walk away Cause I've done that too many times to keep that pattern But i feel as if I'm an alien, just flew down from Saturn So I let the girl go cause all I do is daydream all day Just keep quite like I got nuthin to say But as the sun comes down I realize my mistake Now she's gone again and I'm left to wait For the next cute girl to walk on by We meet eyes and she smiles I'm on cloud nine My hearts a spaceship and just flew to the moon But after yesterday my head says its way to soon But this time I might find the right words today Before I'm to old and my heart wears away
I think it's pretty good, I liked the middle part best, it seems there that you're not working too hard to rhyme, there's some good slant rhymes going on there.
