This is my two week old bagseed just turned two weeks old today its very very short but is bushy with broad leaves in the middle i see new leafs forming i think! Please tell me its not a sack... Hoping this ones a female it was dieing slowly before but i managed to recooperate it it seems to be doing well but its very short for two weeks no? I plant to flower as soon as it turns week 4 so a month a ill post results then! how does it look to you guys? Besides the leafs with nute burns i fixed the issue already
I was also thinking that it is indica I just hope its fem, Strain means nothing as long as it produces good bud to me your right it's too young and small to flower I'm planning to flower by week 4 if it's too small I'll give it a whole 2 months I just don't want all that effort to most likely end up on a male.. Most likely will wait another two weeks until week 4 don't plan on presexing and messing something up I should know the sex by late week 3 right? Earlier if male if I'm not mistaken
No. not quite. For one, the plant will need to mature. Usually a bit more than a month and a half to play it safe. If it branches out on its own and gets bushy its a good sign. If its tall and lanky with no branching then its not a great sign. Males get tall and lanky. grow over females and pop pollen everywhere. Lol. I hear general rule of thumb is a zip per week of veg, but if your using cfl's probably half that. Hope my rambling helps. keep us updated and I will help you best I can when I can
Thanks Iceman I'll post once its about at a month old hopefully it does get more bushy and branch out and hemi4 it takes two months to show in veg? Damn hat might be too long.
Just organized my grow more and made a homemade reflector out of a rabbit cage the bottom plastic half heres some pics also my plant seems to have leafs curling up a little? Heat stress? I have my fan blowing up at the bulbs now so it might help other then that its okay also my plant seems to be growing a top? Anybody know what it is for sure also id like to know if the pots positioning is at a good spot to recieve light from all 8 bulbs its about in the middle ( the lights are about 3-4 inches away) thats all , http://i.imgur.com/r3i9Lh.jpg http://i.imgur.com/voJOi.jpg http://i.imgur.com/BR6Wa.jpg
Oh now that iv positioned my fan on high and have it facing my bulbs and moved them from 1-2 inches away to 3 - 4 will i get a little more stretch and the heat issue will go away?
View image: photo 4 1 Just two questions the leafs that are twisting the main two big ones on left and right side is it heat stress or over watering? I thought over watering b/c no way its the heat if you look at above post i uploaded pics of the fixture the lihhts are further away and my hand does not feel hot at all inbetween the bulb and the plant, last thing does anyone know whats growing in the middle? It looks like leafs ontop of the stem inbetween the two branches?
Its new growth. you should only water when the plant needs water. And what are the temps in the grow room?
Im not too sure i do not have a thermestat in the grow im going to get one monday what should the temp and humidity be? And what are the results if the temp is too high or low?
Keep it under 86 if you can. High humidity can cause issues during flower. High temps slows growth and ads stress to the plant. Low temps do the same.i would try for 80 if you can. Not too hot, not too cold.
My plant smells when your really close to it could this be a hint of being fem?, Also I bought a clamp light in putting my 105watt once it's here in it but I'm set on vegging my questions more directed on flowering since I might be going through flowering starting in first day of October may depend since I'm getting four seeds and my plant now is already almost 3 weeks, anyways once I flower im putting a 42watt inside the clamp light another 42watt beside the clamp light (these will be above the plant along with three 23watts) and I'll have another three 23watts at the bottom / sides of the plants to make the lower buds better, last thing would 280 - 300watts while flowering be okay for four plants considering the 100 watts for first plant and 50 watts for each added
The smell means nothing. I've had dank smelling males before. 100watts per plant is what you should shoot for.
