I have these sq1 genetics big leagues in one gallon fabrics with ocean Forrest, and being fed at the start on the 3rd week, and then water water feed with Advanced nutes conisu a and b,, was given tarantula, piranha, and voodoo first 3 weeks ( i.e one week after sprout, then on the last day of the third week after transplant from red solo to one gallon then one of the following feed day I gave them WP myko, and all bacteria and fungi again .)(also they were sprinkled with myko granulars on transplant). =resume= b52, ancient earth, sensizym, bud candy, and a bit of nirvana and silica. Temp 75, humidity 70, watering ph 6.6~. basically there are growing fan fucking tastic. BUT the question is. I have these in a 5x5 at the end of this week they will go to 5g pots and be split between two 5x5s to flower. They currently have 8 tops each. I normally run under a scrog to flip and second scrog to support late flower. So in one week they'll be in 5g pots to veg for a following 3 weeks in their own tents while I scrog and they fill out. Normally I feel like I over top and end up with a divided plant that always produces quality and plentiful, but I've just been going of base instinct and want a more experienced (5-10year) dedicated growers opinion. SHOULD I TOP/FEM ( advice on which would also be nice) AT THE MOMENT, WITH A WEEK BEFORE THEY GO INTO and either bring up the bottoms or split to potentially 16 tops per. Or should I just let them ride, scrog then, go off the 8 and when I scrog the side branches will catch up and it'll be enough?
There is no "right" answer. With that, I would up pot them, split them up into 2 5x5 tents and scrog them. Excellent grow and work. Keep it up. Honestly, trust your instincts. You know what you are doing from the grow I see.
Sounds like your ideas are piling up in your head..lol. Your obviously a seasoned grower. Very nice clean setup with happy ladies. I never top anything. The whole idea behind Scrog is to manipulate the plant into a flat blanket of bud. We do this without removing bud sites. Especially the one with the most potential. One can achieve multiple budsites with the scrog without removing a thing. I use a wire screen. More sturdy than the netting and it keeps from pushing the screen up. I see folks install a net then another on top of that?????? To me that's not a scrog. It's natural growth supported by a net..lol. That's my two cents bro. It's just my way. One of many ways we grow Ya just find what works for you and rock it but always stay open minded to new things or tweaks of old things. A scrog is my preferred way. Currently I'm pushing for time and need some jars filled so I am not filling a screen but the next grow I definitely will with some flowering clones. Flowering clones...now there's another subject. One that goes hand n hand with the scrog. Mad branching and rapid growth. Love me some flowering clones. I can't wait to get a few cycles in with those under a screen. Big harvests.
I agree with Storz, you could probly fill 3 tents with those 12? plants & bigger pots, Why?, to get bigger buds. Gotta love a full SOG. From looks alone, you know what you are doing, keep doing it.
I'd gladly visit but I can't find it. Checked your activity log and don't see it there or in the main forum. Maybe ya haven't posted yet. Can ya send a link?
