IT'S A GIRL(need photo tips)

  1. Well, it's been confirmed today. It's a girl. There are tiny little white hairs in between the calyxes. It's gorgeous. I want to take pictures, but I'm havin trouble figuring out the macro shot. I know how to get it up, I just can't get the shot into focus.

This is the camera I have: http://www.kodak.com/eknec/PageQuerier.jhtml?pq-path=10000&pq-locale=en_US

    Anybody have any photography tips?

  2. Just set it to macro and take a pic as close as you can without it getting blury. You could use a flashlight or something and shine it at the plant since the camera would probably be too close for the flash to work.

    congrats by the way!

  3. its usually the button with the flower on it,

  4. I know it's the button with the flower, but I can't get it to focus when I zoom.

  5. Stupid question, but have you tried the auto focus?

    Also, a tripod really helps.

  6. Tried the auto focus and all that, ahhh, please somebody help!

  7. use a different camera? lol

  8. Just take the photo at a distance that you can get it to focus, I know your excited about the hairs, but a pict of any kind would be nice.

Besides, its better to have a great grow than great pictures. I for one am a loosy picture taker, but my picts are great because the plants are lush and bushy.

  9. I've heard people say don't zoom whilst taking macros, just get your camera as close as possible; I've also heard that keeping the camera still by either using a tripod or a flat surface will help alot.

    Hope this helps.
