Long story short, I just got home and didn't sleep for a second, was in that cell from 12pm to 6:30am wide awake, I'm DEAD tired. Got arrested for the first time last night, in Chicago, me and 3 buddies smoking a blunt in a empty parking lot behind a cemetary, 5 hits into the 1st b, Narco come flying in this parking lot and its obvious right away were done fore. He told me give him the dope, and he won't impound my car, just arrest me(Impounding my car would be 1000000x worse, I use it for everything, and its $1,200 to get it back...) sure enough I gave him our 2 blunts and he was true to his word, my car was waiting for me outside the police station once I got which I thank them for. Both of the cops were pretty nice, they wanted to let me go, I know they did, but I was also driving on a ticket, a ticket that I didn't have, and that pissed him off, and he was like "how many breaks am I supposed to give you? just the weed? fine you can go, but without the ticket I gotta do my job" Got a court date for it. what should I expect? its my 1st time EVER arrested, and we only had a gram rolled into two blunts. cant be to bad right going to sleep for now... ill check this later and go into further deep
well they will prob weigh it with the wraps anyway. but you shouldnt be tooo screwed if its your first offense, and you were so cooperative. but im sure it will be probation and some com service or something.
yeah dude that sucks some major balls. its a good thing you admitted though, as we all know Chicago cops love bustin skulls edit: i can almost bet though the charges will be thrown away though, the cook county judicial system is so god damn packed with actual crimes the judge will probably have sympathy on you seeing as how your not actually a criminal
as if weed is that serious in america, in my state of oz weed cant even get you arrested (unless your selling it) its just a fine, nothing on your record either my mate got caught with weed once when he was in a car they didn't even take it off him they just smiled and laughed. Saw us again later parked in the main street of my town and they drove past smiling and waving
good to know, I hope it gets thrown out, the Cops also told me they would put in a word for me(whatever that means), Let me tell you, being in a cell sucks. They dude next to me was throwing up violently all night, so I couldn't sleep if I wanted to, and it is SEVERELY uncomfortable
did you have to stay in holding with any gang members? when my friend went to holding at 26th and Cali he was apparantly in the same cell with a bunch of LK's all decked out in their yellow and obviously eyein my preppy whiteboy of a friend.
lol, it is crook county, im pretty sure the charges would get dropped. when it comes to smalltime shit like u getting caught, they dont worry bout it cuz they got bigger shit to worry about. plus the cops were on ur side so i wouldnt let this bum u out. ur gonna b fine.
No and I'm pretty sure they put me by myself for a reason, I'm a big kid, 6'4 175 but I'm white, it's painfully obvious im from the suburbs, and I have a baby face hahaha. I was at 16th, Milwaukee and Central. Right after I was brought in, they brought in 3 or 4 kids that the cops told me were gypsys who were "domesticating" haha, When they got their phone calls, only one of them knew a bailbonds number, and he was screaming it down the hall to the other guys on the phone, and he couldn't hear him, lost his phone call, and went nuts hahahahahahha. Listening to them was the only funny part of prison.
expect 20-40 hours of community service. if you have a lawyer.. that should be basically all they hit you with.
I would suggest smoking at someone's place from now on. Sucks that you got arrested and such, but be more careful next time!
bro same thing happened to me n my bois 2 to tickets for me n one of my boi, my friend with the tree had 3gs not even smokin, he had court 2 months later n the charges were dropped of it was his first offence and yes he was arrested here in Canada
I hope OP get's off easy, but this comment is ridiculous. In the eyes of the law we are all criminals, many of us live in states where we posses amounts of marijuana that are felony amounts. The United States government, and many state governments consider us criminals, and will bust a nut every time they get a chance to convict someone of even simple possession.
hey man but not to be a dick, but if your in cook county, just drive a little bit to the unincorporated areas and spark up where its decriminalized. you will just get a ticket for chiefin those blunts
Believe it or not, once I was processed and let out, while I was waiting for my things back, one of the coppers actually told me to go over to unincorporated Norwood Park and I would only get a ticket for smoking haha. I can get this off my record, no?
