Items per page selection

I like the Shop section of this site, but one of the annoying things is that I can't tell the site how many items I want displayed per page. Right now it's like 8 per page, so sections like Waterpipes end up with 15 pages... I'd like to be able to tell the site that I want to view 24 per page (or 36, or some other number, or all) so I don't have to keep going back and forth between pages in the same section when trying to decide what to buy. Thanks. In the open-sources eShops I've managed it's usually an easy task (often just changing a constant variable), although I've never worked with the same eCommerce system GC uses. Even if an option for "# per page" isn't available, just having an "All" option would be ok.
