i am looking to build a grow box that is 3 x 3 x 3 feet and have been doing a ton of research about it but am still pretty clueless honestly. This will be my first grow so im still a total noob, but i'm sure I can do it! List I have so far -plywood for box -carbon filter (any specific types anyone knows would be great) -intake + exhaust fan (specific types for these as well) *could use help on how to set these up if anyone has any ideas too -cfls/leds for lighting That's all I have at the moment. Any insight is greatly appreciated!
3x3x3=27 square feet x3 for fresh air =81 cfm rated fan x2 for carbon filter=162 cfm rated fan.. your not gonna find a pc fan with that high of a cfm rating... i have a cheap one for you http://forum.grasscity.com/grow-room-design-setup/690379-cheap-120mm-high-output-case-fan.html use my sig to get a power supply and you can dial your fan up and down two types of cfl's... your best bet for cheap is Lowes... they have bulk packs 23W(100W equivalent) 2700K... need at least four of these 23W(100W equivalent)5700k... need at least four of these... a total of 100Watts of actual power.. no less paint your box white to save on cash make your own carbon filter.. super easy.. this is the last thing you do
