It was dark.

  1. The room was dark, pitch black. It is difficult to say how big it was, for it seemed never ending. The echo of every footstep went on for what seemed like ages. there was a light shining on a high quality wooden table. It was a strong tree this must have been made of. I knocked on the table and the thickness of it ran throught my middle knuckle. It was misty, humid and hot. It couldnt have been under 85 degrees. I moved the table out of the light, which i couldnt tell where the light source was coming from. Although the table was in the dark, i could still hear its calling. Within seconds of me moving the table, the light, which had been coming from everywhere but nowhere, flickered out, and then instantly back on. A shocking thing presented itself in the light...
