ISO fumes

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by camram, Nov 29, 2012.

  1. My room and bathroom are in the basement and needless to say, the circulation down there is not the best. Of course I turn the fan on when I am cleaning my bong but tonight the fumes were like pretty strong.

I put ISO in my bong, some in a bag with my downstem and some in a bag with my bowl. I shake the items in another room and then dump the ISO but I swear that sh*t made me dizzy/lightheaded tonight.

Has this happened to anyone else? Oh yeah and this was 70%... Not even 99%

If your inhaling alcohol fumes then you should be asking your self, what can I do to prevent this?

    A) Create *BETTER* proper ventilation.- Add MORE fans or 2 MORE fans to create air circulation. Position them to be most efficient

If you really want to go the extra mile....

    B) Get a painters mask. You can get 50 masks for $1. They prevent you from breathing in toxic paint fumes while painting.

If they can prevent toxic paint fumes then it came also prevent you from inhaling alcohol fumes.

    Hoped this helped ya

    Peace

  4. Thanks for the reply!

I like to keep a clean bong but is it a little overboard to wear a painter's mask every time I clean it?

  5. No problem brother glad i could help.

I enjoy keeping my bong brand new looking always as well.

I, however, have never had this fume problem unless i am making QWISO.

As for your problem, painters mask is a little over the top but it will do the job cheeply and if i was in a small secluded non air flowing room i would prob use a painters mask if the smell was that bad

  6. Better to go overboard than underboard when it comes to safety. :D

  7. How about you step into a better ventilated area?
Unless your locked down in prison, is there's no reason you couldn't just step outside???

  8. Eh painter's mask is probably the best idea.
