I hope. Everything else looks the same. No screws except for the springs up high. Maybe it insulates better or something.
OK I got it The larger bowl stays much cooler than the smaller one it has replaced thus allowing more evaporating EC190 to collect and cool quicker due to the larger surface area the heat displacement will be different.
I wonder what was different about my Quartermaster? I was always able to reclaim most of the alcohol I wanted to reclaim. I hope this new variant will work for y'all.
I will be cleaning mine and finally using it here soon. Just couldn't get my head into it yet. I'm getting ready now though. Keep ya all posted. sent via my pet rock
I received my new condenser head today I noticed that the hole in top is either very small or never drilled out completely Sam Does you new one have the vent hole in the top bowl still? (the vent hole)
My vent hole is a little larger than the first one and the whole thing has machining dust all over it. There are no spacing screws between the fins, either.
Mine looks to be center tapped but not hole ever drilled (upon closer inspection with glasses it is just a center punch mark) Maybe they forgot to drill mine. Now what I wonder if I should try it or drill one myself
Contact Mary Ann before you do anything. Mine looks like they drilled the hole last because that's where all the machining dust it. They didn't wipe it down or anything before boxing it up. I could even still smell the machining oil.
hat are you calling spacing screws Neither my old or new unit have those unless I missed what you mean
@PsychedelicSam I like your new avatar. Very fitting and may I say a slight resemblance even. My compliments!
I will say one thing That larger bottom bowl makes it easier to add the cool water to the bottom bowl .when you run.
