Isnt burning plastic bad?

    I just thought about this, since you hear about it on the news sometimes.

    I burn a large hole threw the side of a water bottle, wouldnt the effect of that burnt plastic be 10x worse then the trace amounts you hear on the news. Should i go see a fucking doctor or something?

    If you smoke out of something that isn't flammable youll be just fine.

    Burnt a hole in the side of a bottle you say? I'd go to the E.R. if I were you, but don't drive yourself! Be safe and get a ride

    ya i've had that happen myself a couple times... but not too often. personally I think the odds of it happening are low enough that i'd just say go for it!

    Plastic Bottles are composed of Carcinogenic Hydrocarbons, if combusted and inhaled. . . it's carcinogenic..

    However if the plastic bottle is used as a percolator, it should be fine as long as no part of the plastic melts from heat transference when inhaling.

    well its not good for you by any means... but i can't see any damage, at least permanent for doing it once in a while of course making a habit of it is very bad

    Just give your homemade bong (I'm assuming that's what the bottle was for) a good rinse with hot water when you've finished making it. As long as you're not inhaling the smoke when you burn the hole, you'll be fine.

    Well unfortunately i did. Mostly blowing out but definitely inhaled/tasted it. The residual smoke from the burning. Wasn't immediate, like 5 seconds wait.

    So i've got cancer, lol? Or would you say the same thing about the stuff inside one cigarette, therefor not dangerous the 5 times i've done it?

    Edit: Then again, if you say just a small risk...that would usually be judged on minor fragments like burning plastic in an Vapir vaporizer or X. This was a large hole :(

    You don't necessarily have cancer just because you've inhaled a bit of toxic smoke. Don't worry about it. Just be more careful in the future. But if you do start feeling sick, see a doctor. Hope I helped.

    you should be fine, just try not to do that too much. you can get some safe plastic bongs for so cheap at ay local headshop if you don't wanna pay for glass, but you can even find great glass inexpensively. i strongly recommend investing in an actual bong.

    You guys are ridiculous even though most of you are just screwing with him. Inhaling a little bit of plastic smoke ( Your story is hard to follow ) as you burned a hole on the side for your slide right? So there was smoke inside that you accidentally inhaled that one time.Im pretty burnt, but yea your gonna die.
