    A drug is broadly defined as a substance that when absorbed into the body of a living organism alters body function. I'm pretty sure that weed does that.

    Weed is technically a drug, but 'drug' has such a bad connotation that most advocates don't associate weed with. Just because something is a plant, it doesn't mean that it's not a drug. Most other drugs are extracted from a plant, but they're still drugs.

    I voted no because of what "drug" means in our society. Technically, by definition, it is a drug. Just like caffeine.

    Pot is a DRUG. Its as simple as that. We are drug users, NOT ABUSERS........... some are xD

    I don't think it can hurt to mention other substances that get labeled as "drugs". Bottom line is the word "drug" has a real negative connotation to it in the general public and believe it or not, a lot of people don't know the true definition of a drug or that (as mentioned before) caffeine is a drug.

    I voted before I read anything, I said Nope, but I thought you referring to an actual drug.. i mean hell everything is a drug in one way or another, i don't think it should be classified that way.

    Duhh? It's a mind-altering substance meant to be enjoyed responsibility. Same as alcohol, caffeine, nicotine, and many others.
