Just picked up a half oz of this sativa for 85, when i met the guy (first time) he was driving this car covered in stickers about soil and planting and this and that, so i got the idea he was into horticulture and planting in general, not just marijuana. So i asked him about the bud, what strain it was, and all he said was "This is what they call a sativa". This pickup looks different than almost all the other ones ive picked up. The difference in this one is that it has very long leaves as you can see in the pics. I tried looking up other sativa strains and i THINK this is what they are supposed to look like? Or is this just some badly trimmed bud? He also had the bud tested for thc content and he said it had 22% THC. He also mentioned CBD levels but i forgot what he said, i think .20 or something. smoked a bowl of this last night and i definitely felt a different high, but then again theres the placebo. So does this look like a sativa strain or just badly trimmed? on the pic with the 2 nugs, the sativa is on bottom, the other one is just for comparison
that might be a sativa but it is poorly trimmed uh only way to really tell if its sativa is to smoke it/ grow & enough understanding of weed to be able to tell the difference between the two if you name for sure the strain name look it up on leafy or somthin like that but unless you are buying fom a dispensary dont trust what any dealer says especially he is says it have high % of thc or something hes just trying to sell it to you
Your a fool for believing that then troll. That may be sativa dominant but I doubt it's a full sativa. It is also poorly trimmed but at least grown alright. Sent from my iPhone 5 using GC Forum
Well indicas are usually more dense and sativas are often fluffier, at least in my experience. Most strains nowadays are hybrids so its pretty much impossible to know unless you know what strain it is.
Right lol! I think a better question is what type of strain is this. But even that is hard to determine unless your some kind of weed guru.
You can tell by appearance. Sativa buds tend to be more abstract and pointy/stringy, while indicas are symmetrical and more rounded. Obviously you can never be too sure but they do have visual differences. [It does loo like a Sativa btw]
Yeah i thought there would be a good chance of this just being a bad trim lol. Like i said the first impression i got from this guy is he is a grower of many plants, not just marijuana. His car had all this information about his company, having to do with planting and soil and whatnot. So what i am guessing is he knows his way around GROWING, just not trimming.
The best part. Matter of fact get rid of the bud and put only stems and seeds in the bowl. Damn gets you baked as hell.
cant really tell by appearence, fire it up. if u want to cut grass, shovel snow or wash ur car its satava dominant, if u want to get in a fetal position on the couch and suck ur thumb, indica strong
from many years of picking up and studying the plant, i'd have to say that is a hybrid, prob like 70/30, if you note, the bud in the second pic has a rounder shape to that bud like indicas, but the leafs on the bud are sativa like
